Frequently asked questions.

What people ask before paying us or connecting an API key. If yours is missing, email us.

Where does your edge come from?+
A set of structural inefficiencies on Binance Futures USDT-M that persist at our position size — the same categories of microstructure and flow edge that leading market makers exploit in-house. We do not disclose which inefficiencies, the factor set, the weights, or the trigger thresholds — those are the product.
Are the backtest numbers real?+
The 30-day equity curve is generated by a path-dependent replay engine on minute-resolution data, with slippage, fees, and funding applied per trade. The numbers come from running the same production filters that trade live across historical bars in the window — no idealised fills, no hand-picked period. Where a strategy's historical triggers cannot be reconstructed from public data (exchange-event timing), it is excluded from the backtest rather than estimated: those models are tracked live-only. Anything still in paper validation does not enter the published numbers at all.
Will I lose money?+
Almost certainly on individual trades — losses are part of every honest strategy. The portfolio survives because edge compounds and drawdowns stay bounded (max 3.93% in the verified window). Results are not guaranteed. Trade only capital you can afford to lose.
Why Telegram instead of a web app?+
Telegram delivers in under a second, runs in your pocket, and doesn't require us to host accounts or KYC anyone. We're anonymous-by-design. The web dashboard exists for analytics; the actual signals live in Telegram.
Can you steal my funds via the API?+
No. The API key you create only has Futures trading permission — withdrawals are explicitly disabled by Binance when you set up the key correctly (instructions are in the connect flow). We can open and close positions in your account, nothing else. You can revoke the key in Binance settings instantly.
🚨 How do I know you're not a scam?+
Real legitimate trading services never collect API keys via Telegram, Discord, or DM. Anyone claiming to be from Hedonist Intel and asking for your Binance API keys outside of intel.hedonist.trading/account is a scammer impersonating us. Our bot will only ever send you signals and accept commands like /arm or /lock — it will never request your credentials. The verified 30-day track record on the main page is generated by the same engine that runs in production — you can independently re-run our methodology against historical data.
What's the realistic monthly return?+
The verified 30-day window above shows the live numbers, refreshed automatically. Returns depend heavily on market conditions — particularly volatility and the frequency of qualifying setups. Rough months of single-digit returns or modest drawdowns are expected; the long-run target is profitability with controlled drawdown, not a fixed monthly figure. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.
How do I cancel?+
Type /cancel to the bot. Subscription stops immediately — no refund prorating, no retention dance. If you've been a subscriber under 30 days you can request a full refund.
Why $99 and not $999?+
Because subscription churn is real and we'd rather have 1,000 long-term subscribers than 100 quarterly ones. The price stays at $99 indefinitely. Founding subscribers (first 200) keep their rate even if we raise it.
What is the Strategic Fund?+
A curated allocation programme for early-stage crypto spot positions (private rounds, OTC blocks, pre-listing). Entry from $2,000 USDT (20% carry, 12-month lockup). Pilot capacity capped — apply at /fund/. For sophisticated LPs only; not an offer to US persons.
